This Saturday, we’re kicking off the celebrations for the 100th Anniversary of our Whirlpool Aero Car with a free pop-up concert featuring The Darcys and Modern Space at the Aero Car site! Niagara Parks Culinary will also be on location during the concert with a BBQ and beer garden that will be featuring our limited edition Aero Car Ale. If you’re joining us for #AeroCar100, here’s a few tips to help plan your visit.
The Whirlpool Aero Car was designed by the Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo, and has been in operation in Niagara Parks since 1916. The cable car is suspended from six sturdy cables and offers a spectacular view of the swirling Niagara Whirlpool, the Gorge, and the Class 6 whitewater rapids of the Niagara River. Guests can ride the Aero Car with their Niagara Falls Adventure Pass or purchase individual tickets at the attraction counter. The Whirlpool Aero Car is located at 3850 River Road in Niagara Falls.
