Swamp Creatures slither in to the Butterfly Conservatory

What do a Malaysian Blood Python and Pink Salmon Bird Eating Tarantula have in common? They’re both temporary residents of the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory!

Starting February 8, these and many more slippery critters will be at the Conservatory for Swamp Creatures: a special exhibit featuring animals from the world’s swamps and wetlands.

Zoo experts from Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo of Ottawa will be on-hand to give live, hands-on demos of these incredible creatures!

Wondering what else you can find? Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, and you’ll get updates and bios of these guys leading up to the exhibit.
