There is something for everyone at Niagara Parks – from the adventurous spirit who enjoys the thrill of gliding high above the Whirlpool Rapids or sailing into the mist at the base of the mighty Falls to the garden lover, who might enjoy watching the unique birds of the area or having a colourful butterfly land on their shoulder.  And for the golf enthusiast, we have some of Canada’s premier public golf courses ready to test their skills and an Academy to help those who game may need a little help.  And lest we forget, history buffs can step back in time to experience the gracious living of 1840s at McFarland House, the pioneer lifestyle of the heroine Laura Secord at the Homestead bearing her name or the rugged and solitary life of a soldier during the War of 1812 at Old Fort Erie.
